How to Plant Parsley (Moskurl) from Seeds
Parsley (Moskurl) is a flavorful herb added over every meal to give it some taste. Grown from seeds, it’s a tedious work but an easy one. Follow the following guidelines to have your healthy parsley plants in the garden or in containers.
| Number of seeds | 45-50 |
|---|---|
| Sowing month | Aug to Jan |
| Harvest | 45 to 75 days |
| Sun | Full Sun |
| Sowing Temperature | Day time below 30C |
Step 1: Choosing the Correct Seeds
First, select high quality Moskurl parsley seeds from a trusted dealer. The Moskurl has curly, dark green foliage with excellent taste. Keep the seeds fresh in order to provide maximum germination.
Step 2: Seed Preparation
There is a hard outer shell in parsley seed that prevents germination. Soaking seeds in warm water for 24 hours before planting accelerates germination. This breaks the shell and allows seeds to germinate earlier.
Step 3: Parsley Moskurl Selecting an Appropriate Location
Lastly, select a good location to plant. Parsley does well in:
- Sun or shade
- Well-draining rich soil
- A potting pot with holes (if planting indoors)
- good companion of carrot seeds
Step 4: Parsley Moskurl Sowing Seeds
Sow moist seeds in moist soil. Here’s how:
- Dig shallow trenches, about ¼ inch (0.6 cm) deep.
- Put the seeds about 1 inch (2.5 cm) apart.
- Cover lightly with soil.
- Water lightly to moisten but not soak.
- Germination will take 2 to 4 weeks, so wait patiently!
Step 5: Parsley Moskurl Caring
After seedlings, tend them according to the instructions below:
- Water as needed: Allow soil to become moist but not waterlogged.
- Thin the seedlings: Pull out weak seedlings when they are 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Keep other seeds 6 inches (15 cm) apart.
- Lightly fertilize: Apply balanced, organic plant food once monthly.
Step 6: Caring for Your Plants
Parsley is easy to cultivate, but aphids and caterpillars can infest it. Spray with organic pesticides or rinse them off with water if you see insects.
Step 7: Leaf harvesting
Parsley Moskurl  will be ready for harvesting in 70–90 days. Harvest the leaves from the outside and allow the inside leaves to develop further. Harvest from the bottom using clean scissors. Regular harvesting will induce new growth to take place.
It takes patience to grow Moskurl parsley from seed, but it’s worth it. Proper care will yield fresh, tasty parsley for months. In a garden or container, this herb is a wonderful addition to any home!
