How to Cultivate Portulaca from Seeds

Soil Preparation
Sow in sandy or loamy well-drained soil. Heavy soil can be drained by incorporating sand or compost into the soil. Sow where there is full sun, since Portulaca does its best in full sun. Gently tamp the soil to create a smooth surface on which to sow seeds.
