Haworthia Magnifica Atrofusca Care Guide
Haworthia magnifica var. atrofusca is a beautiful, black, textured leaf succulent with dense growth. To be healthy, observe the following required care guidelines.

Light Requirements
Ideal growth in bright, indirect light. Windowsill with filtered sunlight is ideal. If grown outdoors, it needs partial shade to avoid burning leaves. Low light promotes etiolation and unhealthy, elongated growth.
Haworthia Magnifica Atrofusca Soil and Potting
Plant in a well-draining cactus or succulent soil mix. Adding perlite, pumice, or sand to the mix enhances aeration and root rot prevention. A shallow, well-ventilated pot with drainage holes is best with free draining of excess water.
Watering Schedule
Water deeply but infrequently. Let dry completely before water again. Water in warm seasons every two weeks based on temp and humidity. Give Water during winter dormant period but only monthly for root rot. Water at ground level always, never on leaves.
Haworthia Magnifica Atrofusca Temperature and Humidity
It prefers 60–80°F (16–27°C) temperatures. Tolerates occasional cold snaps, but needs to be brought under protection from frost. If near 50°F (10°C) or colder, bring inside. Low humidity, a great houseplant.
Fertilization
Haworthia Magnifica Atrofusca Fertilize weak, balanced succulent plant food monthly in the spring and summer. Do not fertilize in fall and winter when there is little growth. It will cause it to be leggy and weaken the plant if too much fertilizer is supplied.
For propagating
Plant propagated by offsets or leaf cuttings. Carefully dig the pups from the parent plant and acclimate them outside in the sun for a day before planting on dry soil. Water very frugally until roots develop.

- Overwatered root rot; water always first to moisten the soil.
- Too much direct sunlight will scorch and yellow or become tenuous on the leaves.
