Gerbera Jamesonii Proper seed selection is required if germination is to be effective. Buy the right quality seeds from the right seller so that the seeds are fresh and active. Keep them in a warm, dry place before planting so that quality does not change. Enhance the quality of germination by soaking seeds overnight in lukewarm water before planting them. This would moisten the soil surface of the seeds in a way that they would become more easily soakable with water. Sowing the Seeds

Start by sowing the draining seed-starting mix in a seed tray or small-sized pots. Spread the seeds on the soil surface but do not cover them completely since they also require light to develop.
