Chrysanthemum Carinatum best to sow during winters. It is seeded with seeds in India between the months of October to January as it thrives well between 15°C to 25°C temperatures. It is tolerant to heat, but more than that stops it from flowering and growing.

For proper growth, the crop requires compost soil and loamy sand with good drainage. Gently loosen the soil and mix manure or compost to make the soil fertile prior to seeding seeds. The ideal soil pH for proper growth is 6.0 to 7.5. Nemesia red and white a good companion
