Select a big, healthy bulb for better flowering. Select a hard, not moldy or soft-spotted, bulb. More flowers are given by the larger bulb.

Utilize a pot with holes so that water will not collect there. Utilize a well-draining soil blend, preferably garden soil, sand, and compost combined. Place the bulb one-third above soil level. Plant carefully after planting.

Put the pot in a spot with bright, indirect light. In India, excessive direct sunlight will burn leaves, so partial shade is best. Morning sun is best for healthy growth.

After the growing stage, let the plant rest. Do not water and allow the leaves to dry by themselves. Place the bulb in a dry, cool environment for 8-10 weeks. Plant and water again for the second flowering cycle.
