Adenium Arabicum requires a hot temperature and full sunlight. It is like a hot summer and winter in India. Place the sapling in such a position that it will receive lots of sunlight in a region where it will receive a minimum 5–6 direct sun hours daily. But half shade during very hot summer afternoons can avoid burning leaves.

Well-draining soil is very important for this plant since it can develop root rot when in a wet condition. Sand, perlite, and garden soil blended together would be ideal. Alternatively, use cactus or succulent potting mix to ensure good drainage. Avoid using clay soil since it holds too much water.
