Stock Purple Germination Process
- Watering Water young plants regularly but not too much. The soil should be moist but not runny.
- Sunlight Matthiola ‘Apricot’ needs full sun or partial sun. Provide 4 to 6 hours of sunlight daily.
- Thinning Seedlings Thin the seedlings when they are 2 inches tall so that there is proper air circulation. Remove all except the strongest and discard the rest.
- Fertilizing Fertilize the plants fortnightly with an all-purpose liquid fertilizer. Never over-fertilize, as the plants will then produce more leaves but fewer flowers.
