First, purchase new Pink Rain Lily seeds from a good dealer. The seeds are small and black but can germinate if the conditions are good. Because Rain Lilies take a long time to bloom in cold weather, planting them when the climate is at its best is advisable.

First, select a location that receives full to partial sunlight. Pink Rain Lilies prefer well-draining soil, so if planting in pots, plant in potting mix and sand. Planting into the ground, dig in the ground and clear weeds.

Second, place the seeds on the ground. Gently tap them in but not too deeply buried. Water the ground gently but not excessively.

Within two to four weeks, tiny green shoots will emerge. Water the soil lightly in between and provide it with plenty of sunlight. Too much water will rot the seeds.

Pink Rain Lilies will bloom a few times annually if well taken care of, and particularly after a shower of rain. They bear pale pink flowers in a cluster, a lovely sight in gardens or planters.
