Godetia Seeds (Clarkia amoena) comes in many colors pink red purple white. It can easily be grown from seeds and flourishes in mild, cool weather. But since most regions in India experience warm to hot climatic conditions, successfully cultivating godetia requires planning and some precautions.

Godetia Seeds Best Time to Plant Godetia in India
Godetia prefers to grow in cold weather, and therefore it is advisable to sow seeds in winter or early spring. October to January is the best time to sow godetia seeds in India. This way, the plant is given an opportunity to grow during favorable weather conditions before hot weather arrives in the summer season.
How to Plant Seeds
1. Choosing the Right Location
Godetia likes cooler locations such as hill stations (Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Karnataka region, etc.).
Provide them with half shade in hot regions to prevent direct sunlight.
Provide good drainage soil and proper air circulation.
2. Soil Preparation
Sow them in light soil, sandy soil, or loamy soil for proper drainage.
Add organic compost or coco peat to feed the soil.
Provide slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0 to 7.0) for better results.

Spread the seeds over the ground and cover them with a little soil.
