Beautiful, peach coloured petals. Cosmos Apricotta is the perfect addition to any garden looking to soften its borders with delicate blooms. Half-hardy annual that is excellent for cut flowers.
Growing Advice – Cosmos – Bipinnatus Apricotta
- Start the seeds indoors between March-April. OR Aug September
- Sow the seeds on the surface of moist compost and lightly cover
- Place in a heated propagator at a constant temperature of 20-25c.
- Alternatively, sow directly outside between May-June.
- The seeds will germinate in 7-21 days.
- Once the seedlings are 5-7cm, transplant into individual pots.
- Gradually acclimatise the plants to cooler conditions.
- When the seedlings have formed 2-3 pairs of leaves, pinch out the tips.
- Plant out once the risk of Heatwave has passed (May-June).
- If growing in pots, use a liquid feed every couple of weeks.
