1. Carnation Seeds Climate Requirement
It is tolerant to good growth between the temperatures of 15°C and 25°C. It has preferred its perfect period in winter time, when people in India get months from October to February. At times of overheat or moisture,can impact flowers quality also gets affected. So, the sowing decides very much in terms of time.
2. Soil Preparing
Type of Soil: Porous soil good for carnation , add perlite or vermiculite to achieve this
Soil pH: A slightly alkaline to neutral pH (6.5 to 7.5) is suitable.
Preparation: Loosen the soil and add compost or well-rotted manure before sowing to improve fertility and aeration.
When to Sow: In India, the best time to sow carnation seeds is between September to November.
Seed Depth: Plant the seeds 1/8 inch deep (0.3 cm).
Equally Spacing: Keep the seed 6-8 inches apart to let it grow

6. Carnation Seeds Pest and disease control
Pest: Some common pests of carnation are aphids, thrips, and spider mites.
Diseases: Fungal root rot and powdery mildew can attack carnations. Maintain proper aeration and water should not get waterlogged so that such disorders do not take place.
7. Carnation Seeds Blooming Period
In the Indian climate, carnations bloom from January to April, with proper care extending the flowering period.

Container Growing: In very warm areas, carnations should be grown in containers so that they can be moved into the shade for the hottest time of day.
