Choosing Aster Varieties

There are several types of asters, including:

• New England Aster (Symphyotrichum novae-angliae): Tall, fall-blooming asters with large flowers.
• New York Aster (Symphyotrichum novi-belgii): Similar to New England aster but generally shorter.
