Adenium Nila kaan or Black Berry

Adenium Nila kaan ,Mr John lucas is one of the earliest growers of adeniums from florida.
He sprayed a Strong herbicide along a path Lined with Potted Adeniums and al of then died down but just one sprouted and the sprouts had reddish leaves.
Over time these sprouts became stronger and were grafted
It was a new cultivar.

Obviously, Some Stems or plants got to thailand and were introduces into the grafted adenium trade there along with calypso and crimson during 1990’s. All were given local names and this plant given the name as Nila kaan

Sometimes it will flower but it is always not a perfect one and malformed Flower color is red

Size	Rarely seen an open flower on this cultivar- mostly aborts as buds.
Form
Colour	The buds are red externally but not as strong a red as one would expect, looking at its leaves.
Throat
Comments	This is one Adenium that’s not grown for its flowers!

Plant

Form	Very compact with short internodes and a tendency towards soft, green, succulent growth.
Leaves	The small to medium leaves are smooth and vary in color from a red tinged green to a deep burgundy.
Other	Compact, bushy grower is best kept in full sun and under fed to bring out the color. A little extra nitrogen and the leaves become greener.
