Preparation of Seeds
Start with young and quality Adenium G1 seeds. Young seeds will have a better percentage to germinate.
Hot water soaking of seeds for 4–6 hours prior to sowing softens the outer covering and induces germination. The seedbed is also prepared at the same time. Seeds are sown in a free-draining mixture of sand, perlite, and potting mixture. Root rotting is avoided.
Sowing the Seeds
Adenium G1 sow seeds in cocopeat. Sow the seeds on top and gently press them into the soil. Don’t plant them deeply—cover them with a shallow layer of sand or soil.
Water the soil lightly but not soggy. Place the tray in a sunny, warm location. 25–30°C (77–86°F) is best germination temperature. Or cover the tray with clear plastic wrap or clear plastic lid to provide humidity.
A sprout should appear 7–14 days after that. After they do, remove the plastic top and move them to a place of bright, indirect light.
Adenium G1 Seedling care
Pot the seedlings in individual pots with drainage when they are a few inches tall. Water sparingly and let the soil dry between waterings. Overwatering causes root rot and fungal disease.
Plant the young ones in a sunny location but give them a shade from direct sunlight for half a day at first. They will slowly develop a fleshy caudex (thickened trunk) and extensive root systems.
Adenium G1 Long-Term Care
Once the plant has matured, place it outside in direct sunlight to grow maximally. Water moderately but deeply when soil is dry. Occasionally, provide balanced fertilizer for flower production. Occasionally, trim your Adenium G1 plant regularly for neatness as well as trigger new shoots.
If given patience and tenderness, your Adenium G1 is going to be a lovely flower plant. Leave it there to enjoy.
