The ideal time to plant Malva White seeds in India is early spring or following the monsoon season. Weather conditions in India are extremely varied, and time is important accordingly. In northern states, sowing in early spring gives plants sufficient growth before summer conditions become established. In sea-facing states and south states, sowing immediately following the monsoon season gives plants time to establish themselves in the soil before winter.

Healthy soil is the secret to healthy plants. Malva White thrives in well-drained fertile soil. Start with loosening 8–10 inches of soil. Next, compost or organic manure can be added to increase the fertility. If the soil is heavy clay, the addition of sand makes it drain well. Lavender seeds can be a good companion

Begin with sowing seeds thinly over the prepared ground. Then apply a thin layer of soil, half an inch thick, over them. Water the soil gently. Malva White seeds are to be heat-germinated, so provide 18–25°C temperature. Germination would take place in 10–14 days in ideal conditions.

Keep media moist during germination. They must, however, never be overwatered since this will cause waterlogged soil and root rot. The plants must be watered sparingly but deeply enough to allow the roots to develop an established root system. Mulching prevents loss of moisture and weed establishment.

Malva White grows well in full sun. At least six hours of direct sunlight a day encourages healthy blooms. When grown in containers, plant them in full sun. Half shade at noon during the hottest summer weather prevents stressing the plants.

Fertilize the plants with a balanced fertilizer every three weeks. Best to use Organic fertilizers like compost tea or vermicompost. Give support using sticks for tall plants to prevent bending.

Aphids and caterpillars are common pests that may infest Malva White. Neem oil or insecticidal soap will repel them. Provide proper air circulation to avoid Fungal diseases such as powdery mildew.

Malva White, when properly maintained, begins to flower in 8–10 weeks. Pinch off old flowers to promote long flowering. To harvest the seeds next year, leave some flowers on the plant and let them dry.
