Alyssum Deep Pink Caring
- Watering: Alyssum requires regular watering. Make sure that the soil is moist and not soggy, especially in wet climates like Kerala.
- Sunlight: At least six sun hours a day gives plenty of flowers. In very hot climates, a half-day shade in the afternoon is helpful.
- Fertilizer: Dilute liquid feed fortnightly encourages steady growth and flowering.
- Pruning: Pruning the plant after the first flowering period makes it bloom more.
- Pests and Problems
- Alyssum Deep Pink is not susceptible to pests but under hot, humid conditions will be attacked by whiteflies and aphids. These can be driven away by a spray of neem oil or soap solution.
- Crossandra Yellow Splash good partner for Alyssum.
